Connecting with Prostate Cancer UK can have great benefits for your company and for our charity. For example, employee fundraising is great for team building and commercial partnerships can help to boost your profile and drive sales while raising money. There are many ways we can work together.

We have experience of building long-term relationships with companies of different sizes across varied sectors including retail, banking and construction. We support employees, customers and suppliers and celebrate the partnership in the media. We can also educate your staff about prostate cancer with talks by our nurses and trained volunteers.

Employee Fundraising and Charity of the Year

Fundraising at work can be fun, motivating and great for team building. We have loads of fantastic ideas to help you get involved all throughout the year.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a simple and tax-effective scheme, which allows you to donate to the charity of your choice by a direct deduction from your salary. If your company has a Payroll Giving scheme established, the payroll department deducts the amount pledged from your pay. The charity receives your donation, and the tax you would have paid on this amount is added on by the government.

Prostate Cancer UK has a policy that funding from pharmaceutical and medical device companies will not exceed five per cent of its total annual income. During the financial year 2011/2012 donations from such organisations, expressed as a percentage of our total annual income, were 0.05 per cent.
