We often get requests from press, radio and television to have someone share their experience of prostate cancer. These are great opportunities to raise awareness of such an important issue.
We are looking for a personable & confident individual with a good telephone manner to help out our Sporting Events Team. The Sporting Events team manage a large programme of running and cycling events, including fielding teams in events such as the Virgin Money London Marathon, Bupa Great North Run and Ride London 100.
We have secured a three year partnership with Deloitte and a one year partnership with Scotmid to raise awareness of prostate cancer among the general population, but with particular emphasis on men most of risk.
Local speaker coordinators will co-ordinate small groups of trained speaker volunteers in their local area to help deliver awareness talks and host information stands and to find opportunities to deliver talks.

We need an army of volunteers at each of the stadiums before kick off to help collect money and raise awareness amongst fans. You will also get a free ticket to watch the match afterwords.

The London Marathon is the largest annual fundraising event on the planet – runners have raised over £600 million for good causes since the race began in 1981.
We need enthusiastic volunteers to help at this year’s Brighton Marathon. Volunteers will be needed at our supporter point to spot our runners, encourage and cheer them along the course and hand out sweets to give them a boost as they complete the run.
