Prostate Cancer UK health and social care professionals

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Every year, more than 40,000 men are diagnosed and 10,000 men die from the disease.

To ensure that men receive the best support, Prostate Cancer UK has a new health and social care professionals programme that will work with the NHS and other health organisations to fund new health and social care professional roles throughout the UK.

The professionals in these specialist roles will lead and implement local healthcare improvement projects related to prostate cancer pathways across primary and secondary care.

The Expression of Interest to apply for funding is now closed. We will be holding another round in 2014.

We will be updating the website with details of the projects we are currently funding over the next few months.

If you have any questions about the programme please contact us on healthroles@prostatecanceruk.org.
