The Mike Gooley Trailfinders Charity has today announced it will be donating £200,000 to the Charity’s studentship research programme. Two major research projects in the UK, both of which will look at halting the spread of the disease, will receive the funding.

Three new important clues about the treatment and progression of prostate cancer will be unveiled at The Prostate Cancer Charity’s National Prostate Cancer Research Conference in London.

The Prostate Cancer Charity comments on new research, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) which suggests that men who took vitamin E supplements were more likely to develop the disease than those who did not.
