Support for family and friends
Death is a part of life, and grieving, a natural process. But
everyone experiences grief differently and for some people the
death of someone close can be a very sad, lonely and sometimes
devastating experience.
That is why Prostate Cancer UK ensures that family and friends
can all access the highest quality practical and emotional support
following any bereavement from prostate cancer. We also recognise
that family and friends may be struggling with the emotions of
anticipatory grief, knowing that somebody close to them will die in
the near future.
Working alongside our
partners at
Cruse Bereavement Care you can access either telephone or email
support with trained bereavement workers who can help make more
sense of a loss or impending loss, should thoughts and feelings
prove more difficult to cope with as time goes by.
Bereavement support is confidential with agreed email or
telephone conversations arranged at your convenience. For further
information please contact the Specialist Nurses on 0800 074 8383
or email helpline@prostatecanceruk.org
