Helpline survey 2011

A diagnosis of cancer can be a frightening and overwhelming experience and our specialist nurses aim to provide support and information at this difficult time.

Between September 2010 and January 2011, callers to the helpline were invited to participate in a survey to measure the quality of the service.

201 callers responded, helping us to understand how we can improve our service. We would like to thank all those who responded and provided us with very valuable feedback.

How callers rated the Helpline

  • 100% said the nurses explained things in a way that could be easily understood
  • 99.5% said the nurses were knowledgeable in the area they wanted to talk about
  • 98.5% said the amount of information provided was enough to meet their needs
  • Over 94% of callers were "very satisfied" with the overall experience of calling the Helpline
