Educational Bursaries

We are proud to offer a range of bursaries to support professionals undertaking prostate disease focused education, as well as funding for organisations providing these training opportunities. 

Bursaries are available for professional development activities that have a clear focus on prostate cancer or benign prostate disease. Please see below for a list of the funding opportunities currently available.

Current bursary schemes - Individuals

Education bursaries: up to £1500
Masters degree in Prostate Cancer Care

Education bursaries: up to £1500

We provide education bursaries of up to £1500 to health and social care professionals and allied health professionals wishing to engage in educational opportunities that have a clear focus on prostate cancer and prostate diseases.

We have two levels of funding available; up to £499 or between £500 and £1500. You can apply for a bursary to cover course fees for study days, short courses or educational conferences. We are unable to cover additional expenses such as travel costs at this time. 

There is no deadline for these schemes; applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

Masters degree in Prostate Cancer Care

If you’re working towards a specialist or advanced practice role in prostate cancer, we can support you with a bursary to undertake the Masters degree in Prostate Cancer Care (distance learning) with Sheffield Hallam University.

Bursaries cover the full course fees but do not cover any additional expenses, such as travel, at this time.

There is no deadline for this scheme; applications will be considered on a rolling basis. However, it is advisable that students wishing to start the Masters degree in September (semester one) apply for a bursary by late June/early July. Those wishing to start in January (semester two) should apply for a bursary by late October/early November.

Current bursary schemes - Organisations

We offer bursaries to support organisations providing educational opportunities that have a clear focus on prostate cancer and/or benign disease.

Education bursaries of up to £5000 per activity are available to organisations wishing to provide UK based educational activity, such as training events, study days, conferences, clinical updates or similar.

There is no deadline for this scheme, applications will be considered on a rolling basis. However, we recommend that you apply for a bursary at least three months before your planned activity is due to commence.
