As a charity, we've always been unabashed in our commitment to
helping more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality
of life. To help achieve this and continue the progress we've made
so far, we are moving our London office to Counting House in London
Bridge on Tuesday 24 September 2013.
We have secured a 10-year lease on the new office, allowing us
to extract the maximum value for money possible for a central
London location. Although the charity is continuing to grow in
terms of the number of staff we employ, we are in the process of
changing the way we work to improve efficiency. Our new office in
London Bridge is actually 12 per cent smaller than our current
location and in 2013/14 86p of every £ we spend will be on
Moving our London office - one of seven offices located
throughout the UK - to a central location within the capital city
will allow us greater access to the individuals and organisations
we need to influence and work with in order to achieve better and
long lasting results for men. We'll be on the doorstep of the
politicians we need to lobby, the health industry we must engage
with, and the big corporate businesses and media outlets that we
want to work with.
Our current location in Hammersmith has served us well, but with
prostate cancer set to be the most common cancer by 2030, we need
to ensure we put ourselves in the best location to help as many men
as possible. Moving office is just one aspect of this, we are also
committed to spending millions of pounds on targeted projects in
research and service provision to help more men survive prostate
cancer and have a better quality of life. Together, we can and will
make a difference to men's health.
